THE IDEA

Each device at its best. Your work, connected.

You need software on Windows, and you enjoy working on your Mac. Linkage starts with the idea of a network display: computation stays on the workstation while the next click, drag and detail come to your Mac.

01 Native computation

Big models. Workstation power.

Windows applications use the workstation’s CPU and GPU directly. Your Mac receives the final picture, without solving CAD models or porting engineering apps to another system.

02 Familiar controls

Same trackpad. Familiar habits.

A native entry point, settings and fullscreen controls. Command editing shortcuts and configurable Option mapping. Everyday actions, refined one at a time.

Trackpad feel and full physical-key coverage are still being refined.

03 Clear details

Small text. Fine lines. Worth getting right.

Explore high resolution and 4:4:4 chroma sampling. Inspect source pixels, encoding, decoding and presentation separately, so improvements can be measured.

Hardware decoding verified; physical-panel pixel alignment remains in progress.

04 Continuous work

Copy a thought. Continue over there.

Text and image clipboard transfer in both directions helps work move between desktops. Audio from the session can follow you to the Mac too.

Clipboard needs a Windows session agent; application-level acceptance is ongoing.

A few things before you start

Can I download an installer today?+

This release is a source and developer-tool preview. There is no complete general-purpose installer yet. The download page follows official GitHub Releases.

Does the Mac run Windows applications?+

Applications, plugins and CAD computation stay on Windows. The Mac handles video decoding, presentation, audio and input. The network carries media and control messages, plus text or images when clipboard transfer is enabled.

Does it feel exactly like native macOS?+

Not yet. The native launcher and several interaction modules work, but the media client still uses Qt/SDL. Trackpad behavior, pixel alignment and portable configuration are still being refined.

Do I connect the GPU directly to my Mac?+

No. The current path uses a network connection, a virtual display and hardware video encoding. Wired Ethernet is the verified setup.
